Anotha Day, Anotha Cab

Wine Wednesday! Come on! What a wonderful Wednesday to be alive. This week has been a challenging one, my anxiety has taken on a new form and I will share that in my next blog post. Nonetheless, I have another Cabernet that I picked this past weekend and I am just now opening. I decanted for about an hour and a half and it was much needed.

On the pallet, very woody, spicy, dry, raspberry notes that go down smooth and leave no aftertaste. The smell is so fruity and aged, but not aged at all.

This wine can stand alone, but I paired it with crock-pot turkey, potatoes, and vegetables. It worked, but it was not the best pairing. I would suggest a skirt steak, potatoes, and a wedge salad.
